  Wild Grapes are not found in this country, yet!
We take the vine for granted in this country, so many products from just one plant, grape juice, vine leaves, raisins, wine and grapes.
 
Annual/biennial/Perennial Perennial.
Appearance The leaves are big and translucent green.
Height Left unchecked it will climb and ramble to great heights.
Growing Position Full sun.
Disease  
Fertiliser Light organic.
Propagation & soil It is usual to buy a plant but do check to see if it is indoor or outdoor, edible or sour for wine. Light well drained soil with plenty of water in summer.
General Information  
Spring Best to buy a plant.
Summer The leaves and tendrils can be harvested
Autumn Make sure that your vine if contained in a pot is not water bound in a peat mix as this will rot the roots. Put lots of garden grit in the soil if you are repotting either in spring or autumn.
Winter Prune now.
Use The whole plant except the roots can be used fresh or dried.

Areas of help Raisins can be used in two ways one for diarrhoea, eat six every two hours during the day. For constipation soak 12 raisins in honey and water overnight and eat in the morning. General tonic, cancer, and eczema
Storage Fresh and dried.
Specific Use
  • Add the fruit to fruit salads
  • Drink the juice and make jellies
  • Stuff vine leaves with rice
  • Eat the tendrils in salads
  • Use the standard tea as a hair tonic.
