very delicate scent of lemon, wonderful for potpourri as all parts can be
used. Bought over from Chile in the eighteenth century.. |

| Annual/biennial/Perennial | Annual unless protected indoors or outdoors with leaf mould or straw through the winter. Hard frosts or very prolonged low temperatures will kill it even if protected. |
| Appearance | The leaves are long, of green to yellow colour with pale purple flowers. |
