  Make sure you dont buy Russian Tarragon!
Although not French in origin they have certainly taken it to their hearts.
 
Annual/biennial/Perennial Perennial.
Appearance Long, narrow, dark green leaves with tiny greenish flowers.
Height 3ft/90cms
Growing Position Full sun.
Fertiliser Light organic.
Propagation and soil Sunny sheltered spot in rich, light soil.
Spring Buy a plant and place where it will remain..
Summer Take cuttings of side shoots but these will have to remain inside until the following spring.
Autumn Divide old plants and reposition.
Winter  
Use Leaves.

Storage Fresh or dried.
Specific Use
  • Be careful how much of this herb you use as it can be too powerful. Add a little at a time and taste if you need more then add.
