Growing Position Seed bed.
Fertiliser  
Propagation & soil It will survive quite well in poor soil but if you provide the plants with a fertile well drained soil it will thrive.
Spring Sow the seeds in seed beds about 6 ins apart.
Summer Transplant the seedlings so they are 18 ins apart between June and August.
Autumn Earth up each plant to the first leaf to protect the plant.
