Appearance Shiny oval leaves with flowers that range in colour from cream to peach to purple.

Growing Position Almost anywhere, as long as it has something to climb on or up or around.
Fertiliser Light Organic.
Propagation & soil Cuttings and good soil. Very easy to propagate
Spring Try sticking a small twig in the ground to see if it grows. We did this many times last year and it was very successful.
Summer As the new shoots grow either take off the ones you dont want and train the others.
Autumn .
Winter Cut back non-shooting branches
Use The whole plant.
Aromatic, Medicinal or Culinary Medicinal
Areas of help All heart troubles, cough, sore throat, arthritis, rheumatism, and general stiffness of the joints.
Storage Use fresh.
Specific Use
  • Use the flowers raw or made into tea
  • For asthma, crush a handful of flowers in honey and molasses and take a tablespoon morning and evening
