Growing Position In pots in a sunny spot.
Fertiliser Organic diluted .
Propagation & soil Sow seeds in spring. If you have a well established clump these can be divided and spaced out. Rich well drained soil.

Summer Feed all through the summer, cut off the flower heads and leaves for drying
Autumn When you divide put some clumps in pots so that you will have constant supply all winter.
Winter Mark the position of the chives so that you know where they are as they will die right down.
