One of the favourites of the Victorians and many survive to this day.

Special Care Not a popular plant these days and actually very difficult to find. The common name was given to it because it survives well in very little light and enjoys a certain amount of neglect.

Growing Position Grows on the floor of the forest, it is therefore used to shade.
Water and Feed Water sparingly, allow the top soil to become dry before its next watering. Diluted organic feed occassionally, once a month in summer.
Propagation and soil Division of well established clumps. Several leaves together will form the best new growth rather than just one leaf.
